May 1-31: Bethel University announces it will waive the university application fee for students who enroll during the month of May. Bethel's MBA Program has four different specialties. Contact Mark Bell at 731-358-5324 or by e-mail at bellm@bethelu.edu.
IMPORTANT SCHEDULING NOTE: Capitol Talk for 18 May has been cancelled. We will resume the program in February 2013.
May 18: Music on the Square starts at 7 pm, right behind the Hardeman County Courthouse. The featured band will be Dirt Road Express at 8 pm.
May 18-19: The Hardeman County Arts Council presents "'Til Beth Do Us Part," a Jones Hope Wooten Comedy. Dinner will be at 6:15 and with shows beginning at 7 pm. Tickets are available at the Arts Council box office at 1580 W. Market Street, 10 am to 2 pm, beginning May 7 for Arts Council members and 14 May for the general public.

June 1: Music on the Square starts at 7 pm, right behind the Hardeman County Courthouse. The featured band will be Showtime at 8 pm.
June 2: The Annual Saulsbury Fish Fry will run from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Saulsbury Fire Department. All you can eat catfish, white beans, hush puppies and French fries will be offered. Tickets are $10 per person at the door.
